Life is a constant change that can cause stress, anxiety, and trauma, etc. I like to support the process of empowerment for individuals who find it difficult to live a quality of life that they can enjoy day to day. I graduated through the clinical method at Silberman School of Social Work. I have four years of experience using cognitive behavior therapy, narrative therapy, strength based therapy, dialectic behavior therapy, behavior activation and integrative or holistic therapy. My experience has involved clients who survived different types of traumas, anxiety, depression, mood disorders and personality disorders. I also have experience working with individuals, couples, families and groups.
Through intensive courses of psychotherapy I have specialized in mental health. I have broad experience working with children through play therapy in order for adaptation to difficult circumstances that may cause emotional episodes. My past experience includes working with families and children of individuals with ASD and intellectual disability. I also have experience working with adolescents who are in the developmental transition of being a child to a young adult. If you currently feel lost in your life and in need of emotional/psychological professional support you have made the biggest realization of your life and now it is time to start the journey of enhancing the quality of your life.
I also obtained by bachelor’s degree in psychology and women and gender studies at Hunter College. During these years I also operated an after school program aiming to support children from Spanish speaking households in the Bronx.
we look forward to hearING from you soon! *All sessions are by appointment only*
